IFC Presents Ten New Titans: The Future of Film

Films from Today’s Top Emerging Independent Filmmakers

Featuring Films by Christopher Nolan, Paul Thomas Anderson and Darren Aronofsky, Among Others

The Independent Film Channel (IFC) presents Ten New Titans: The Future of Film, a selection of films from directors who have emerged as the top new filmmakers of our time, airing Wednesday, December 18 to Friday, December 20 beginning at 8:00PM (ET/PT). The festival includes exclusive commentary from the featured directors as they discuss their personal outlook on the future of filmmaking.

Featured directors include the Oscar nominated, Golden Globe nominated and Independent Spirit Award winner Christopher Nolan (Memento), Oscar-nominated Paul Thomas Anderson (Magnolia) and Sundance Film Festival Director’s Award-winner Darren Aronofsky (Requiem for a Dream). In addition, Neil LaBute (Possession), Harmony Korine (Gummo), Miguel Arteta (The Good Girl), Kimberly Peirce (Boys Don’t Cry), Todd Solondz (Happiness), Lisa Cholodenko (Laurel Canyon) and Joe Carnahan (NARC) are featured “Titans.”
