"Smaller art-house companies like IFC Films, which handled the release of "[Y Tu Mamá] También" in the US, have no trouble with material that's intended for what used to be called mature audiences." (Elvis Mitchell, New York Times)

Two friends, one woman and a sexually charged road trip that changed them all. The Independent Film Channel (IFC) presents the network broadcast premiere of the critically acclaimed and racy coming of age story, Y Tu Mamá También, Wednesday, October 29 at 10:00PM(ET). The 2003 Oscar®-nominated, Independent Spirit Award winner for best foreign film was theatrically distributed by IFC Films. Plus, see the Y Tu Mamá También expose' Behind Your Mother Too, a television exclusive, immediately following the film.

Ed Carroll, IFC General Manager/Executive Vice President, comments, "This is another great example of the benefits of being a multi-tiered company. We have the advantage of tapping other IFC divisions as a resource to provide content for the network."

Y Tu Mamá También, written and directed by Alfonso Cuarón (Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Great Expectations), tells the story of two teenage boys and an attractive older woman embarking on a road trip, where they learn a thing or two about life, friendship, sex and each other. Starring American cinema newcomers Gael García Bernal and Diego Luna, Julio and Tenoch are looking forward to summer while their girlfriends are away. After meeting the stunning Luisa (Maribel Verdú), the two convince her to go on an outing to the made-up beach paradise Heaven's Mouth. Jealousy and tensions arise between the two friends as they compete for her affection, which threatens to destroy their friendship.
