Jeff Marks Named Vice-President, Training and Network Coordination at News 12

Jeffrey A. Marks,
News Director and Chief Operating Officer for
News 12 New Jersey has been
named to the newly created position of
Vice-President, Training and Network
Coordination
for News 12
Networks. In his new role, he will be
responsible for designing, organizing and
implementing training programs for the more than
500 employees of the News 12
Networks. Mr. Marks
will also be charged with maximizing
cooperation and resource sharing among the
networks, including coordination of joint
projects, shared content and major breaking
stories.

organization, he was vice president of
WLBZ-TV in Bangor,
Maine
, executive producer at
WJLA-TV in Washington,

and senior news producer at

Louisville. He has also been a
trainer in management, ethics, writing and other
areas related to journalism. He was chairman
of the Radio Television News Directors
Association in 1992.
