Sundance Channel announced the appointment of Michael Lehrer, Vice President, Strategic Marketing.’ In this newly created position, Lehrer is responsible for positioning Sundance Channel’s brand and strategy within the ad marketplace, including the development of campaigns, collateral and offerings to drive demand and sales.’ Additionally, he supervises all development and execution of short-form and branded entertainment content associated with revenue generation.
Prior to this role, Lehrer served as Senior Director of Integrated Marketing and Sponsorship Development at MTV.’ He was responsible for ideation, creation and implementation of multi-platform integrated marketing programs.’ Lehrer also served as Associate Buying Director at Zenith Media, where he supervised all national cable TV buying and execution for major accounts.’ At Universal McCann/McCann Erikson, Lehrer served as Media Supervisor and oversaw national broadcast buying for clients.’ He began his career at Dewitt Media.
Lehrer graduated from John Carroll University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications.’ He currently resides in New Jersey.
