News 12 Long Island Honored With New York Associated Press’ Television Grand Prize

(Woodbury, New York, June 10, 2002) – The New York Associated press has honored News 12 Long Island with the Television Grand Prize for overall excellence for a television news station. Additionally News 12 Long Island received 5 First Place awards and 6 Special Mentions from the New York Associated Press. The awards were announced Saturday, June 8th at the Holiday Inn in Saratoga Springs.
