News 12 Networks Names David Kirschner General Manager, News 12 Interactive

WOODBURY, NEW YORK, NOVEMBER 26TH, 2001News 12 Networks has announced the hiring of David Kirschner as the General Manager of News 12 Interactive. Reporting to Steve Weinberg, Vice President of Operations for News 12 Networks, Mr. Kirschner will be responsible for managing News 12's application as part of iO: Interactive Optimum, Cablevision's suite of digital services; News 12's presence on the Internet (www.news12.com); News 12's "info-bar" content; and all other future interactive areas of News 12. " News 12 Interactive is poised to bring local news to a new plateau," says Pat Dolan, President of News 12 Networks, "and we are confident David Kirschner will help lead us there."

Prior to leading News 12 Interactive, Mr. Kirschner was the Chief Operating Officer of the LiveProducts Division of e-Sim Ltd., an online service dedicated to provided consumers virtual manuals and on-line help for their electronic equipment. Mr. Kirschner had worked with Cablevision as a director in e-media, prior to his employment at e-Sim.

"News 12 Networks has always offered viewers a unique version of local news," said Mr. Kirschner. "The Interactive division will bring the hyper local content viewers have come to expect from News 12 into the digital age. Offerings will include additional content, archival material, and timely access to the news and information subscribers can't get anywhere else."

Mr. Kirschner is a graduate of Queens College, where he received a BA in both Communications and Political Science.
