Olivia Dupuis Appointed Director, Corporate Communications, for Rainbow Media

New York, NY, September 5, 2007 – Rainbow Media Holdings LLC announced today that Olivia Dupuis has been named Director, Corporate Communications. In her new role, Dupuis will be responsible for developing and implementing trade and business public relations strategies and broad strategic messaging for Rainbow and its entertainment brands. Specifically, she will manage the communications strategy for The Independent Film Channel (IFC), Rainbow Media's original on-demand networks, LIFESKOOL and SPORTSKOOL, as well as VOOM HD Networks, the largest and most diverse suite of HD channels worldwide. She will report to Matthew Frankel, Vice President, Corporate Communications.

"Olivia will assist us in developing and implementing strong and effective communications strategies that will promote and extend the reach and brand perception of our networks."

Previously, Dupuis was an Account Director at Goodman Media International, Inc. where she planned and executed communication campaigns for a wide range of television and media clients, including PBS, Comcast, Scholastic Media, XM Satellite Radio, The Weather Channel and Carat Americas, among others. In addition, she assisted in managing the press rooms for major National Television Academy events, including the Emmy Awards for Daytime, News and Sports. On the publishing front, Dupuis oversaw media relations for Southern Living magazine as well as Quick & Simple, Hearst Magazines' first weekly publication.

She began her career as a publicist with the boutique public relations agency Kelly & Salerno Communications, where she handled publicity efforts for a number of major public television campaigns, including all of the broadcast projects for Bill Moyers' production company, Public Affairs Television, and the launch of the weekly newsmagazine NOW with Bill Moyers. Additionally, Dupuis managed publicity for PBS programs, including Ric Burns' Ansel Adams: A Documentary Film, the contemporary art series Art: 21 – Art in the Twenty-First Century, and Watergate Plus 30: Shadow of History.

She is a graduate of Denison University in Granville, OH with a B.A. in Communication.
