Paul Rehrig Joins AMC Networks as Senior Vice President, Business Development

New York, NY September 22, 2011 – AMC Networks Inc., (NASDAQ: AMCX) announced today that Paul Rehrig has joined the company as Senior Vice President, Business Development. Rehrig will report to Josh Sapan, AMC Networks President and CEO. As part of the senior management team, Rehrig will help identify and execute new revenue-generating opportunities for the company in digital, mobile and on social media platforms.

Now that AMC Networks is a stand-alone entity, Paul’s role is particularly important as we look to expand the business.”

Rehrig comes to AMC Networks from Warner Music Group where he was Senior Vice President, Global Digital Strategy and Business Development. At Warner Music Group (WMG), Rehrig was instrumental in establishing new business models, distribution outlets, licensing partnerships and in driving the international expansion of the company’s digital business. He helped build relationships with strategic technology and digital distribution partners, social networks, ISPs and MSOs, wireless carriers, and electronics manufacturers all over the world to develop innovative ways to bring WMG’s music-based content to consumers. He played key roles in crafting successful partnerships with Apple, Google/YouTube, Microsoft, Spotify, Verizon, and AT&T.

Prior to joining WMG, Rehrig was Senior Director & Head of Product Marketing at (M)FORMA, a global publisher of downloadable mobile games and apps. Prior to (M)FORMA, Rehrig spent six years in mobile product development and marketing at AT&T Wireless. He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two children.
