New York, NY (January 20, 2006)fuse, the nation's only viewer influenced, music network today announced that Yellowcard will drop its latest album, Lights and Sounds on "7 th Avenue Drop" on Monday, January 23. The performance will premiere on Tuesday, February 7 at 9pm ET.

Yellowcard, comprised of Ryan Key (lead vocals, guitar), Sean Michael Mackin (violin, backing vocals), Longineu Parsons III (drums), Pete Mosely (bass, backing vocals) and Ryan Mendez (lead guitar) are all revved up to release their new CD, entitled Lights and Sounds (scheduled for release on January 24). The album's lead single (also dubbed "Lights and Sounds") is exploding at Modern Rock radio, with 63 stations adding the track in the past three weeks alone.

Yellowcard has quickly become one of rock's fastest-growing acts. The band's 2003 breakthrough album, Ocean Avenue, has spawned hit singles, sold-out tours, an MTV Video Music Award and has sold over 2.5 million copies worldwide. Yellowcard's new album, Lights and Sounds, to be released on January 24th, 2006 is even more ambitious than its predecessor – sonically and lyrically — encompassing a broader range of musical styles from the buzzing guitar attack of the title track to the 25-piece orchestra that graces the sweeping "How I Go."

Yellowcard will join a robust line up of A-List artists who have graced the stage of fuse's "7th Avenue Drop" including the The Strokes, Foo Fighters, All American Rejects, Unwritten Law, Coheed and Cambria, Story of the Year, Fall Out Boy, Staind and Fort Minor. "7thwww.yellowcardrock.com.
