PRINCESS CRUISES ‘SETS SAIL’ AS PREMIERE SPONSOR OF WE tv’s INNOVATIVE “WATCH W/IN” INITIATIVE

First-of-its-Kind Effort Designed to Increase Live+3 Viewing Attracts New Advertiser to WE tv

NEW YORK, NY — January 23, 2015 — Princess Cruises is on board as the first sponsor of WE tv’s new “Watch W/In” initiative, which encourages viewing of its most popular shows within three days by providing unique viewer incentives.  Princess Cruises is a new advertiser to WE tv, attracted to the network’s engaged and growing audience.  The brand will be integrated into on-air promotional spots that will run during premiere episodes of the network’s original series “David Tutera Celebrations,” airing on Friday nights from 10-11 pm ET/PT.

During the show’s commercial breaks, a specific code word will be featured within a WE tv and Princess Cruises branded spot.  Viewers who enter the code word at wetv.com will be automatically entered to win a Princess Cruises seven-day Caribbean cruise for two leaving from Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  Roundtrip airfare will also be awarded.

“We started Watch W/In as a way to encourage timely viewing of our shows, delivering engaged audiences to advertisers and driving real-time conversations around our content,” said Marc Juris, WE tv president.  “The initial response has been terrific and we are so happy to have Princess Cruises on board as our first sponsor of this initiative and a new advertiser on WE tv.”

“We’re really excited to be partnering with WE tv to drive more engagement with their shows and our Princess cruise vacations,” said Gordon Ho, senior vice president of marketing and North American sales for Princess Cruises. “With, Princess Cruises celebrating its golden 50th Anniversary this year through a variety of special onboard experiences, this show tie-in was a natural fit that gives viewers a not-to-be-missed chance at being a part of the festivities.”

“Watch W/In” is designed to promote immediate social conversations around WE tv’s buzz-worthy programming and deliver commercial viewing within the three-day ratings window important to advertisers.  The effort incentivizes viewers to watch WE tv’s series live, on demand, or record them on DVRs and watch within three days to be eligible for prizes.  The effort first launched around the premiere of “Tamar & Vince” in November and has since attracted several thousand sweepstakes entries.
