Rainbow Media Holdings Taps Georgia Juvelis as Vice President of Corporate Communications

NEW YORK, NY, May 6, 2008 – Rainbow Media Holdings LLC, a subsidiary of Cablevision Systems Corporation, announced today the appointment of Georgia Juvelis as vice president of Corporate Communications. In this role, Georgia will oversee all corporate communication as well as business and trade media relations for Rainbow Media and each of its entertainment businesses, including AMC, WE tv, IFC (The Independent Film Channel), IFC Entertainment and VOOM HD networks. She will report to Ellen Kroner, senior vice president of Corporate Communications and Marketing for Rainbow Media.

Georgia has nearly 15 years experience working in publicity and corporate communications for leading media and entertainment companies, including Gemstar-TV Guide, Discovery Communications and Hearst Communications. Most recently, she was Vice President of Communications for Gemstar-TV Guide, where she oversaw corporate communication, media relations, talent relations and consumer publicity initiatives for all of TV Guide's television and interactive businesses.

Prior to that, Georgia owned and operated an independent public relations consulting firm for six years in New York City and San Francisco, specializing in providing strategic communications consultation, media relations and publicity campaign support to media and entertainment companies. Georgia began her career at Discovery Communications, where she managed trade and consumer program publicity for both Discovery Channel and TLC.

Georgia received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maryland. She has participated in the CTAM University program at Harvard Business School, and is responsible for Beacon Award-winning initiatives, the cable industry's highest honor for excellence in public affairs and communication. She also holds an Advanced Degree from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust, the foremost international body in the field of wine and spirits education.
