Rainbow Media’s Joshua Sapan To Be Honored With Long Island Film Festival’s Outstanding Achievement in TV Award on July 21

New York, NY, July 19, 2005 – Rainbow Media’s President and CEO, Joshua Sapan, will be honored with the L.I. Film Festival’s top award – the Outstanding Achievement in Television Award. The award will be presented at the festival’s annual ‘Salute to Independent Filmmakers and Awards Ceremony Gala’ on Thursday, July 21 at the Chateau Briand restaurant in Carle Place, NY.

The award is being presented by the Long Island Film and Television Foundation as part of the annual Long Island International Film Expo, July 14 -21. Other award recipients include: actor John Savage (The Deer Hunter)/Creative Achievement in Independent Film Award; award-winning writer Susan Isaacs/Cultural Achievement Award; entertainment attorney Marc Jacobson of Greenberg Traurig/Friend of the Foundation Award; and actress Veronica Cartwright/Creative Achievement Award. Celebrity presenters include: Carol Alt (supermodel); Armand Assante (Striptease, Looking for an Echo); and, Eileen Fulton (As the World Turns), among many others.
