Rainbow Media’s MSG Networks, News 12 Networks and MetroChannels Nominated for 93 Emmys

New York, NY, March 12, 2002 – Rainbow Media Holdings Inc., a division of Cablevision Systems Corporation, has collected a total of 93 New York Emmy nominations for its 3 regional services, MSG Networks (MSG Network and FOX Sports Net), News 12 Networks and MetroChannels. The Emmy’s are the New York television industry’s most prestigious awards. These nominations build on Rainbow’s success last year when its three New York-area based networks were honored with 10 Emmy’s, more than any other local organization.

The collection of 93 Emmy nominations by Rainbow’s three local networks is more than any other local programming company. Three of News 12’s local networks received 37 nominations including: 24 nominations for News 12 Long Island, seven nominations for News 12 Westchester and six nominations for News 12 New Jersey. MSG Networks received 31 nominations including 16 nominations for MSG Network, 13 for Fox Sports Net, and two nominations for programming produced and aired on WPIX-NY. MetroChannels received 25 nominations for its programming on MetroTV. Of note, Thirteen received two nominations for programming which airs on MetroChannels MetroArts/ Thirteen.
