Rainbow Media's VOOM HD Programming is a Hit in Asia

iD Distribution Licenses nearly 170 Hours of High-Definition Content to Broadcasters in Japan, China, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Thailand and Singapore

New York, NY – October 24, 2006 – Demonstrating the global strength and appeal of Rainbow Media's VOOM HD brands, London based iD Distribution has licensed nearly 170 hours of high-definition (HD) programming to broadcasters throughout Asia over the last 12 months. These deals expand VOOM HD content further into Japan, China, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Thailand and Singapore, and selected from VOOM HD's 15 distinct HD channels, the largest suite of high-definition programming in the world.

Among the Asian-based broadcasters licensing Rainbow's VOOM HD Networks' programming are:

China's CCTV HD, which licensed 10 hours, including 15 half-hour episodes of Reservations Required (15×30') and five half-hour episodes of Ultra Space.

Hong Kong's ATV, which picked up 13 episodes of Gallery Tours and 12 episodes of Magnificent Obsessions, while TVB Hong Kong signed up for full-series orders for Reservations Required and Ultra Space.

Korea's OnMedia, which picked up the Reservations Required series. CJ Media licensed the limited series Full Frontal Fashion Miami and a one-hour special entitled Swim Suits Secrets Revealed for its Korean audience.

UBC Thailand, which licensed a mix of art and lifestyle series, including Reservations Required, Ultra Space, Gallery Tours, Art In Unexpected Places and Magnificent Obsessions.

Discovery India, which caught the fashion bug, licensing Rainbow's Full Frontal Fashion London, Full Frontal Fashion New York, Full Frontal Fashion Milan and Full Frontal Fashion Paris for its viewers. Its sister platform, Discovery Asia, licensed six one-hour episodes of Ultra Eye for its fashion conscious audience.

Singapore's Media Corp HD, which picked up Reservations Required and Ultra Space series; MediaCorp News signed on for 25 half-hour episodes of Behind the Label and Singapore Air selected one episode of Behind the Label and Reservations Required to entertain its travelers.

Fox Japan, which picked up nearly 40 hours of programming, including Full Frontal Fashion London (4 x 60'), Full Frontal Fashion Milan (6 x 60') and Full Frontal Fashion Paris (6×60') as well as Party Flash (7×30'), Beauty Minute Makeover (5×60'), Yoga (19×5'), Style Pulse (3x 60'), Where D'ya Get That (5×1'), Reservations Required (15×30') and Behind The Label (25×30').
