BETHPAGE, NY August 28, 2000 – ROMANCE CLASSICS presents the world premiere of THE SECRET LIFE OF GIRLS, a poignant coming-of-age film starring Linda Hamilton, Eugene Levy and Majandra Delfino on Saturday, October 21 at 9:00 PM (ET).
It’s 1973 and a confusing time for anyone, especially teenagers struggling to grow up and discover their individuality. Meet Natalie (Majandra Delfino) and her best friend, Kay (Meagan Good) teenage girls trying to find themselves in the midst of family and societal turmoil. Natalie’s family is torn apart, when her mother, Ruby (Linda Hamilton) reveals that Natalie’s father, Hugh (Eugene Levy) is involved in an affair with one of his college students. After Natalie confronts her father on campus, she takes refuge in the university library where she meets Theo (Keith Bogart), a handsome college student for whom a crush develops. Natalie’s mother, obsessed with the student her husband is having an affair with, takes Natalie and Kay to the campus on a fact-finding mission. A series of events take place when the girls become involved in campus life and find themselves in trouble at a fraternity party.
