NEW YORK, NY, March 2, 2009 – Rainbow Advertising Sales Corporation (RASCO), the advertising arm of parent company Rainbow Media Holdings LLC, announced today the appointment of Scott Collins to Executive Vice President of National Advertising Sales for WE tv. Previously serving as Senior Vice President of ad sales for WE tv, Collins has significantly grown the network’s ad sales revenue in the women’s marketplace. Building on that success, Collins will expand his role to increasing revenue opportunities in New Media Sales including digital and video-on-demand, (VOD). Collins reports to Arlene Manos, President of Rainbow National Network Advertising Sales.

"Under his leadership WE tv has secured over 22 new upfront advertisers and increased its revenue growth by 22%. He is a seasoned professional whose extensive knowledge of the advertising and cable industries provides him with a keen insight that is valuable to WE tv’s growing slate of innovative linear, online and on demand programming."
Prior to joining Rainbow, Collins was Vice President of National Ad Sales for NBC Universal Cable Entertainment where he oversaw ad sales activities for USA Network and the Sci-Fi Channel. Prior to NBCU, Collins was at A&E Television Networks where he served as an Account Executive for A&E and The History Channel. Collins’ early career moves include working as a Senior Account Executive at Eyemark Group W and as a Research Analyst for Nielsen Media Research.
Scott resides in Chatham, NJ with his wife Lisa, and two daughters, Megan and Katelyn.
