NEW YORK – November 15, 2012 – Sundance Channel announced today that their original and critically-acclaimed docu-series, “Push Girls” has begun production in Los Angeles for a 10-episode second season set to air in 2013.? "Push Girls," touted as “captivating” by Time Magazine’s James Poniewozik, was a conversation starter last June when it launched with widespread acclaim from both viewers and critics alike, for the genuine and ground-breaking depiction of four beautiful, intelligent and inspiring women who use wheelchairs.
In the highly-anticipated second season, Executive Producer Gay Rosenthal ("Ruby," "Little People, Big World") will continue to document the lives and friendship of Mia, Angela, Tiphany and Auti as they tackle modern social issues and every day life. The series will also follow newly paralyzed Chelsie Hill, who seeks guidance from the girls as she enters her 20’s as an independent young woman. From family dynamics, to new romances and career challenges, these women continue to balance it all and do it on their own terms.
