New York, NY – November 3, 2022 – Hosts Freddie Flintoff, Chris Harris and Paddy McGuinness are back with four all-new Top Gear episodes and a holiday special, Top Gear: Driving Home for Christmas, on Thursday, November 17 at 11pm ET/10pm C on BBC AMERICA and AMC+.
This season of Top Gear sees a pick-up pilgrimage across Thailand, discovering the amazing nation that loves these trucks more than anywhere else in the world. There’s a supercar showdown in the Alps, featuring the all-new Ferrari 296 GTB, the all-new Porsche Cayman GT4 RS, and the astonishing, multi-million pound four-wheeled work of art that is the Pagani Huayra BC. At the opposite end of the market, the trio has been to Paris, testing the very latest in affordable electric microcars, while closer to home they’ve had a thorough – and thoroughly outrageous – look at the best way to get into the delivery driver game on a budget. Elsewhere, this season is shining a spotlight on budding young racers that don’t have the means compete in the high stakes world of motorsport, putting together a team of talented young drivers and mechanics for a once in a lifetime opportunity. With all this and more, the new season of Top Gear continues to set the benchmark for high-octane excitement and entertainment.
Top Gear is a BBC Studios Production with Clare Pizey and Alex Renton serving as executive producers. BBC Studios is handling the global distribution.

Holiday Special – “Top Gear: Driving Home for Christmas” – Premieres Thursday, December 15 at 11pm ET/10pm C on BBCA and AMC+
In this holiday special, Chris Harris, Paddy McGuiness and Freddie Flintoff aren’t choosing their own cars, but instead choosing for one another. Yes, it’s time for Top Gear Secret Santa! After unwrapping their presents in Bethlehem (that’s Bethlehem, Wales, obviously), our three wise(ish) men and their gifts set off on a Yuletide voyage across Britain, stopping off to play the traditional Christmas parlor game of ‘High Speed Visual Charades,’ and deliver a truly enormous tree to the UNESCO World Heritage city of Bath. Because nothing says ‘Merry Christmas’ like a thousand kilos of Norway Spruce on the Royal Crescent. Then, in the words of the great Chris Rea, it’s time for the hosts to do some drivin’ home for Christmas. Home, of course, being the Top Gear test track, magically transformed into a veritable winter wonderland of speed…
