VOOM's Animania HD Premieres Two Animated Series From Motion Picture Espana

Telmo and Tula and Boom and Reds produced
in high definition for Animania HD's US Premiere on July 1st

New York, NY – June 26, 2005 – VOOM HD Networks' Animania HD, a channel solely dedicated to animation where cartoon worlds take on astonishing depth and detail, announced today the licensing of two new series from Motion Pictures Espana, an international distribution company which finances and distributes television series worldwide. As part of the agreement, the new programs Telmo and Tula and Boom and Reds, will be produced in high-definition for Animania HD's U.S. premiere broadcast, on Saturday, July 1st. Animania HD is part of the VOOM HD Networks, the largest and most diverse suite of high-definition channels nationwide and currently available on DISH Network.

"Both Telmo and Tula and Boom and Reds fulfill Animania HD's strategy to make animation on television a spectacular experience and to work with cutting-edge high-definition animation partners," said Keith O'Connell, Vice President of Programming for Animania HD. "Both series reinforce Animania HD's commitment to showcasing quality and ground-breaking animation from all over the world while continually contributing to our increasing library of high-definition programming."

Telmo and Tula are little cooks that demonstrate to children how simple delicious breakfasts, sandwiches and desserts can be made. With Telmo's antics and wild imagination opposite his know-it-all bossy sister Tula, the pair produces fun-filled kitchen adventures where children can learn to make their own favorite recipes. Telmo and Tula will premiere as seven-minute shorts on a daily basis.

Boom and Reds features Boom, a warm and friendly purple ogre, and Reds, a swarm of peppy little friends in red hats. The two join together to play silly games all in 3D animation. In each episode, Boom has to guess what the Reds are drawing on the floor but because Boom is not so smart he will just make up the silliest suggestions he can imagine. Boom and Reds will premiere as four-minute shorts during Little Big Blocks, the programming block geared towards pre-school age children.

In February of this year, VOOM HD announced its distribution agreement with Echostar Communications to carry all fifteen HD channels on its Dish Network. Since its launch, Animania HD has introduced a variety of high-definition animated series including PICME, an award-winning interactive animated series where a child literally stars in his/her own cartoon and Lola and Virginia, a witty animated sitcom, targeted to girls 6 to 12, telling the story of the relationship between these two girls involving alliances, strategies and betrayal. This new announcement for Animania HD confirms VOOM's commitment to growing and to investing in the brand's aggressive move into the marketplace.
