WE tv Promotes Jeff Meza to Director, Ad Sales Marketing

NEW YORK, NY – March 4, 2009 – WE tv announced today that Jeff Meza was promoted to Director, Ad Sales Marketing. Meza was formerly manager of trade marketing for WE tv. In his new role, Meza will expand his focus to manage the strategic development and execution of the network’s multi-platform national ad sales marketing and promotional programs, including storyline integration, product placement and custom vignettes and interstitials. Meza reports directly to Elain Waldman, vice president, trade marketing WE tv.

"Jeff’s marketing experience, strong internal and external client relationships are proof that he is of great value to the WE tv marketing team," said Elain Waldman. "His prior success in ad sales marketing at daytime network television provides him with insights and instincts that are invaluable to WE tv and Rainbow Media."

Meza has been a member of the WE tv Trade Marketing team since June 2007. In 2008 he conceptualized and executed WE tv’s Ad Sales and Affiliate Sales monthly mailer program resulting in greater series and brand awareness among key constituents at MSOs and at ad agencies. Meza also delivered creative ideas for clients including Clorox, Pillsbury and The Orlando Tourism Board. Most recently, he spearheaded the development of eight WE tv lifestyle vignettes called: WE tv Spotlight.

In this role, he oversaw the development and execution of all ad sales marketing and promotional programs for "The View," including segment sponsorships, product integration, sweepstakes and giveaways. These efforts resulted in more than $36 million in incremental revenue for the network. Meza also worked with agencies and clients to create customized sponsorship opportunities and branded messages across ABC’s daytime division.

Before ABC, Mr. Meza worked at Disney/ABC Television Group as executive assistant and marketing coordinator for the co-chairman and president of Disney/ABC Television Group and the senior vice president of advertising sales and promotions for ABC Television Group.
