Royal Wedding Saturdays will showcase original and acquired specials and series that explore royal life and royal weddings, including the U.S. television premiere of the one-hour special, "Kate: The New Diana?" which explores the longtime relationship of Prince William and Kate Middleton and the potential that Kate will be the next Queen of England. In addition to the on-air programming, www.WeddingCentral.com will host the Royal Wedding Party Sweepstakes, an interactive application that invites users to become part of a royal wedding party through a virtual point system. At each level of the game, users accumulate points by signing up to play, tweeting about the game and posting it to their Facebook status. Along with points, players are also awarded a status within the wedding party, such as guest, flower girl/ring bearer, bridesmaid/usher, maid of honor/best man, and finally, princess/prince. A leader board will tally the top ten player’s points on the site. The sweepstakes runs from August 18 to September 29.
