New York, NY, March 29, 2004 – Fuse and Wrigley’s Winterfresh brand announced today that they will be teaming up for a creative advertising and promotional program that will organically integrate the Winterfresh logo into both on-air and on-line content for the upstart music network.
In a first-of-its-kind campaign, Wrigley has given Fuse the go-ahead to integrate its popular Winterfresh logo in a humorous :10 channel ID. The special branded content will debut on-air, and will also be viewable on the Fuse.tv splash page featured on the broadband edition of the network. Consumers can also use the Winterfresh logo to click-through to the official Winterfresh website (www.winterfresh.com).
“We are very excited about this collaboration,” commented Corey Silverman, Fuse’s Senior Vice President, Advertising. “We think it’s a bold tactic that will really help the Winterfresh brand connect with Fuse’s viewers.”
“Over the past year, Fuse’s irreverence has really struck a power chord with teens,” states David Kroll, Director of Consumer Marketing at Wm. Wrigley Jr. Company. “This is not only expressed in the music Fuse plays, but its offbeat on-air look and packaging which are an excellent fit for the Winterfresh message.”
