Kim Granito is the Chief Marketing Officer of AMC Networks.
In her role, Granito is responsible for marketing and brand strategy across the company’s portfolio of entertainment brands including targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC America, IFC, SundanceTV and We TV; and film distribution labels IFC Films and RLJE Films. She leads media and performance marketing, creative strategy, research, production and events, blending data-driven insights and creative storytelling to connect with audiences worldwide. She also oversees integrated marketing and Content Room, AMC Networks’ award-winning branded entertainment studio.
Granito’s career in entertainment marketing spans over two decades across AMC Networks, NBCUniversal and Viacom. She joined AMC Networks in 2011, with a strong track record for innovation and creativity. In her previous role as EVP of Integrated Marketing & AMCN Content Room, Granito launched AMC Networks’ award-winning in-house branded entertainment and creative studio, Content Room, giving advertisers custom extensions of the company’s premium IP and brands.
Before that, Granito spent seven years at the company’s IFC network, where she drove consumer and integrated marketing campaigns for hit series including Portlandia and Documentary Now! She established IFC’s positioning in the advertiser marketplace and developed multi-platform partner solutions via programming, events and packaging.
Earlier in her career, Granito held several consumer marketing, promotions and strategic marketing roles at MTV Networks and NBCUniversal, including USA and Syfy where she was a key architect in building both advertiser and consumer-facing show campaigns.
Granito has received numerous industry recognitions including being named a Multichannel News Wonder Woman and “40 Under 40” honoree, one of Cablefax Magazine’s “Most Powerful Women,” and a Cynopsis Top Woman in Media. She is a graduate of King’s College and resides in Maplewood, New Jersey with her husband and two daughters.
