NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA, May 6, 2002 – On Sunday, April 7, AMC viewers were treated to an on-air sneak-peek of sister channel WE: WOMEN'S ENTERTAINMENT, hosted by actress and supermodel, Cindy Crawford. The "Sunday with Cindy" sneak-peak offered a sampling of
WE: WOMEN'S ENTERTAINMENT programming including original series and films. In an overwhelming response over a four and a half-hour period, more than 75,000 viewers requested via phone and online that WE: WOMEN'S ENTERTAINMENT be added to their local system.
"Our preview viewer response averages out to about 15,000 per hour – other nets average about 10,000 per hour, so obviously the demand is there.
