AMC Names Jason Fisher Senior Vice President of Production

New York, NY – September 23, 2010 – AMC announced today it has named Jason Fisher as the network’s Senior Vice President of Production. Fisher comes to AMC from ABC Studios where he served as Vice President of Production since 2007. He will report to Joel Stillerman, AMC’s Senior Vice President of Original Programming, Production and Digital Content. Fisher, who will join AMC later this month, will be based in New York.

In his new position, Fisher will oversee physical production for AMC original programming through every stage, from development to delivery. Among his responsibilities will be the AMC original series currently in production, The Walking Dead, as well as the upcoming drama series The Killing (working title). Fisher will oversee production for all AMC programming including scripted series, long form, unscripted, and short form.

In addition to his position at ABC Studios, Fisher has served as Vice President for production at Turner Television and has been on the production teams of many pilots, series and specials, including the pilots for Hope and Faith and The Bernie Mac Show.
