NEW YORK, NY, April 6, 2022 – As a signature element of its 2022 upfront, AMC Networks today unveiled TEAL, a new comprehensive product suite designed to help advertising partners access the company’s full range of digital ad products and advanced technologies. Standing for “Technology Enabled, Audience Led,” TEAL builds on the company’s successful Buyers First and Viewers First strategies that have been the foundation of parternships in recent years. TEAL, is a one-stop destination for partners to creatively enhance their campaigns with a comprehensive suite of advertising products.
The initial suite of products include:
- TEAL: Shoppable – a fully immersive, in-programming shopping experience
- TEAL: Interactive – a collection of creative overlays that allow ultimate interaction with partner products (ex: pause, overlays, credit squeeze or picture in picture)
- TEAL: Integrations – the ability to integrate partner products in content post-production
- TEAL: Take-over – the ability to display ad ownership across the company’s digital library
- TEAL: Exclusive – presenting content with limited commercial experiences
TEAL’s first campaign will launch within AMC Networks’ Content Room original series Show Me More: Killing Eve with a fully shoppable experience driving to shop partnerships with Coco De Mer and Hunter Boots.
“We have been a leader and an innovator in the use of content, including an expanding slate of digital originals closely aligned with our series content, to drive unique and impactful advertising partnerships. TEAL creates a central resource and home for our partners’ campaigns,” said Evan Adlman, senior vice president of advanced advertising and digital partnerships. “TEAL also ensures our viewers have the ultimate and most organic experience when interacting with our partners’ products and brands. Like Viewers First and Buyers First, which were new concepts when we named and first presented them, TEAL will become a primary focal point for the way we work with our partners and clients from this upfront forward.”
