Boston, MA, July 16, 2000 — AMC NETWORKS has promoted Sid Eshleman and Joe Glennon, both headquartered in the network’s Western Region office, it was announced today by Kim Martin, Executive Vice President, Distribution and Affiliate Marketing for AMC Neworks. Eshleman is now Senior Vice President, Sales and Affiliate Marketing, and Glennon was promoted to Director, Sales and Affiliate Marketing.
“Sid is a key player in the sales and marketing strategies of both American Movie Classics and Romance Classics” said Martin. “His relationships with the top MSOs are invaluable.” “Joe is another tremendous asset to the sales and marketing team, and we look forward to his continued success.”
Eshleman and Glennon will continue their business relationships with cable operators. As Senior Vice President, Eshleman will have increased responsibilities in the managing of MSO accounts on a corporate level in the Western Region. Glennon will supervise the marketing and sales team.
Prior to joining AMC Networks, Eshleman was a Senior Manager at Discovery Networks. Glennon also worked at Discovery Networks as an Affiliate Sales Manager. During his tenure he managed affiliate relations for Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and The Learning Channel.
