The swingin' 70's come to life this April on AMC. On Sunday, April 18, starting at 6 PM, the network explores the quintessential 80's "Brat Pack" ensemble film known as THE BREAKFAST CLUB, with a new edition of DVD_TV: THE BREAKFAST CLUB. The network will air both a full screen and a "Much More Movie" version of John Hughes's most zeitgeist-specific film, followed by a special Backstory of the movie.
On Sunday April 11, AMC takes viewers back ten more years for "That 70's Movie," a round-the-clock marathon of movies from the decade of the American auteur, from George Lucas's AMERICAN GRAFFITI to Irwin Allen's disaster flick, EARTHQUAKE.
Also this month is the two-day movie festival, "AMC Laughs All Weekend," with non-stop Three Stooges movies and shorts accompanied by comedies such as THE NUTTY PROFESSOR, TOUGH GUYS and
AMC ends the month with its "Fright Fest" movie line-up of heart-stopping thrillers, including: THE DEAD ZONE and MIMIC.
