News You Can Use From Rainbow Media

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, April 3, 2005 – At today’s NCTA, Rainbow Media announced several booth events and programming initiatives designed to demonstrate its ongoing leadership in programming innovation on both its linear and VOD services and to celebrate its popular and well known entertainment brands – AMC, IFC, WE, Mag Rack, sportskool and fuse.

These announcements are part of Rainbow’s 2005 National Show focus on highlighting its advances and vision for VOD and its continued commitment to work closely with operators in developing creative solutions to help drive sales of high speed, telephony and broadband.

Rainbow Media’s National Show booth #1629 is dubbed “The Control Room” where Rainbow is raising the bar on VOD with previews of its innovative on demand services, along with a sneak peek at some never before seen product.

Day One Booth Events:

IFC will award three Delphi XM MyFi Satellite Radios, along with six months of free service, at this year’s National Show. Show attendees can enter the raffle drawing by visiting the Rainbow Media booth (#1629) and submitting their business card. The drawings will take place at 3 pm on Sunday, and 12 pm and 3 pm on Monday. Winners need not be present at the time of the drawing to win. IFC chose to give away XM Satellite Radios because XM, like IFC, delivers uncut, commercial free media to consumers.

sportskool will host a visit from All-American softball pitcher and 2004 Softball Olympic Gold medalist Jennie Finch on Sunday, April 3rd at the Rainbow Media Booth (#1629) from 3-5 pm.
