LOS ANGELES, CA – MAY 12, 2010 – At the 2010 Cable Show, Rainbow Media showcases its national networks AMC, WE tv, IFC and Sundance Channel and IFC Films’ transactional VOD services. Rainbow’s unprecedented year of growth extends across all of its brands and platforms. The momentum has been propelled by AMC’s award-winning originals; first quarter record ratings delivery at WE tv; a new brand and tagline at IFC, "Always On. Slightly Off."; Sundance Channel’s launch of an original scripted strategy; and IFC Films’ growth on its VOD film distribution platform. AMC LAUNCHES BREAKING BAD INTERACTIVE COMIC GAME
Now half-way through the third season of Breaking Bad, AMC is introducing the online, interactive, graphic novel, comic game, THE INTERROGATION. Part role-playing and part interactive comic book, the story is told in six chapters with the player acting as Breaking Bad’s DEA Agent and Walter White brother-in-law Hank Schrader. THE INTERROGATION allows fans to find out how good they are at grilling a criminal. The player guides the questioning of the suspect; trying to glean information all before he gets too nervous and calls his lawyer, Saul Goodman. Produced by AMC, the game is written by Breaking Bad’s Gordon Smith. Users can access the game at http://www.amctv.com/originals/breakingbad/interrogation. Breaking Bad premiered on Sunday, March 21st at 10PM. To date, this is its strongest season ever with over a 20% increase in total viewers over season two.

SINGER/SONGWRITER TONI BRAXTON TO APPEAR IN WE TV PSAs
Grammy® Award-winning R&B singer and songwriter Toni Braxton is the next celebrity to join WE tv’s national public affairs campaign, WE Volunteer (www.WEVolunteer.tv). Braxton, who supports Autism SpeaksTM, will encourage viewers to volunteer, in a pair of PSAs premiering on WE tv this summer. WE Volunteer is WE tv’s national effort designed to motivate women to become more involved in their local communities by pledging one full day (24 hours) of community service throughout the year. WE Volunteer is the latest campaign of WE Empowers Women, the network’s four-year-old public affairs initiative dedicated to creating programs that foster and celebrate women’s strength, confidence and diversity.

IFC SETS OCTOBER 1 PREMIERE OF ORIGINAL SERIES,
"THE INCREASINGLY POOR DECISIONS OF TODD MARGARET"

IFC announced it will premiere its upcoming original series "The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret" on Friday, October 1 at 10 pm, et/pt. The IFC original series pairs David Cross and Will Arnett in their first project together since "Arrested Development," which also airs on IFC. The series is created by, written by, and stars Cross as Todd Margaret, a corporate nobody and pathological liar who unexpectedly finds himself running his company’s London office. Each of the six half-hour episodes will debut on Friday nights at 10 pm and encore throughout the weekend and on Tuesday nights in the network’s Automat programming block. The series begins production in the UK on Monday, May 17.

SUNDANCE CHANNEL MARKETING PROMOTES THREE
Sundance Channel has promoted three key members of its marketing team. Beth Stein has been elevated to vice president of marketing from senior director, brand marketing; JC Cancedda has been promoted to vice president of brand strategy and creative from director, brand strategy and design; and Lele Engler has been upped to director, marketing and media from senior manager. The appointments are effective immediately. Ms. Stein and Mr. Cancedda will report to Shari Weisenberg, SVP Marketing for Sundance Channel; Ms. Engler will report to Ms. Stein.

"I’m delighted to promote Beth, JC and Lele, all of whom are veteran Sundance Channel marketers whose deep knowledge of the brand, make them highly valued members of our team," said Ms. Weisenberg. "The network will benefit from their expertise and creativity as we further establish Sundance Channel as a re-energized arts and entertainment network that brings viewers what’s next, now."

In her new role, Ms. Stein will spearhead all consumer, affiliate and branded entertainment marketing efforts for the network. As head of creative for the network, Mr. Cancedda will oversee all expressions of the Sundance Channel brand including on air, marketing, original programming, affiliate, international, and outside partnerships. Ms. Engler will oversee media planning, promotional strategy, and affiliate and partnership marketing.
