Northern California's Leading Sports TV Network Extends Relationship with Athletics

SAN FRANCISCO, CA – Fox Sports Net Bay Area and the Oakland Athletics today announced a long-term extension of their current television agreement. The new agreement continues a relationship that began in 1990. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Under terms of the agreement, FSN has acquired the rights to televise up to 90 Athletic games per season beginning with the 2004 season. We are proud to extend our relationship with the Athletics and look forward to being partners well into the future.”

“The Oakland Athletics look forward to continuing our long-standing association with Fox Sports Net Bay Area,” said Oakland Athletics President Michael Crowley. “We are both committed to rewarding our fans with the best television coverage of one of Major League Baseball’s most exciting teams.”
