CLEVELAND, OH – The Cleveland Chapter of the National Television Association recognized Fox Sports Net for its commitment to quality programming by awarding the network an Emmy for its 2002 coverage of Cleveland Cavaliers basketball. Steve Liverani, senior vice president and general manager, Fox Sports Net Ohio, made the announcement.
Fox Sports Net was awarded the Emmy in the category of "Live/ Live on Tape Coverage of an Entire Sporting Event."
The producer of Cavaliers telecasts on Fox Sports Net is Bob Pennell. Doug Johnson is the director.
"This Emmy Award is a reflection of the hard work and coordinated efforts of the entire Fox Sports Net staff," said Liverani. "We are proud to work with some of the most talented people in the business, and are honored by the recognition."
