Fox Sports Net Debuts Sharks Byte

San Francisco, CA – This season, Fox Sports Net will begin broadcasting Shark Byte, a bi-monthly magazine-style show about the Bay Area's hockey team. Sharks television color commentator Drew Remenda hosts the show, which will take fans inside the world of Sharks hockey.

Shark Byte will debut Monday, September 24 at 7:00 p.m. on Fox Sports Net. Replays will be broadcast September 29 at noon and October 3 at 7:00 p.m.

"We think this is a show everyone will enjoy whether you are a long-time hockey fan, a casual hockey observer or just someone who enjoys sports," said Sean Maddison, Sharks Byte Producer. "This is a chance for fans to get to know the Sharks players like never before. Hockey players, almost to a man, are great people who have a passion for the game they play."

The inaugural Shark Byte will feature Scott Thornton traveling to Sea World with children from the Mexican American Community Services Agency, interviews with rookie of the year winner Evgeni Nabokov and Masterton Trophy winner Adam Graves, a tour of the Sharks fantastic training facility and much more.

The second edition of Shark Byte will air October 11 at 7:00 p.m. with retransmissions October 13 at 3:30 p.m. and October 18 at 4:00 p.m. The third installment will be shown October 20 at 9:30 a.m., October 22 at 3:30 p.m. and October 30 at 7:00 p.m.
