FSN continues its successful turn at the poker table with the first-ever live poker championship, a three-day tournament with the final table telecast with just a five-minute delay to viewers in the Eastern time zone. THE AMERICAN POKER CHAMPIONSHIP LIVE FROM THE TURNING STONE RESORT AND CASINO airs Wed., July 14, and it is being carried by FSN at 6:00 PM local time.
Drawing some of the best poker players in the world, including World Series of Poker champions Rob Varkonyi (2002), Chris Moneymaker (2003), and Greg Raymer (2004), plus top players such as Phil Ivey, Daniel Negreanu, Howard Lederer, and Cindy Violette, the live event promises to bring the viewer to the edge of his seat from the first hand to the final showdown. FSN veteran announcer Barry Tompkins will serve as the host and play-by-play announcer alongside gambling columnist and analyst Michael Konik. Additionally, a current high-ranking professional player is expected to fill the third slot to serve as the second analyst.
Hosted by the Oneida Indian Nation's Turning Stone Resort & Casino, six finalists battle it out for up to $1 million dollars in cash during the pressure-packed four-hour show. In addition to the live telecast, history is also being made as FSN unveils a revolutionary new computer system that interfaces with the network's graphics generators, making instantaneous on-screen card identification possible.

BEST DAMN SPORTS SHOW PERIOD correspondent Leeann Tweeden continues her tour of sports cities across the country in the Pontiac Tweeden Tour. This week, Leeann makes appearances in Boston and St. Louis where she will be doing live remotes for the show as well as throwing out the first pitch for the Cubs-Cardinals game on Friday. On Sunday, Tweeden concludes her tour in Houston where she will be participating in the Celebrity All-Star game.
This week, BDSSP continues with the top guests in sports and entertainment hanging out with the crew. BDSSP features host Chris Rose, actor/comedian Tom Arnold as the voice-of-the-fan and ex-NBA standout John Salley. FSN's newest daily talk show, I, MAX, continues with the brash and opinionated Max Kellerman, alongside co-hosts Bill Wolff and Michael Holley. The unique format of the show pairs Kellerman against the world, represented by Holley and a special guest each day. Kellerman takes on the news of the day with his analysis and then gives "the world" a chance to respond. Each topic is judged and is tallied throughout the show. I, MAX is the first FSN program to completely originate from New York City. The 30-minute telecast airs at 6:00 PM local.

Coming in two weeks, Fox Sports Net unveils its newest daily program, THE SPORTS LIST, featuring the dynamic and energetic Summer Sanders. A two-time Olympic gold medalist and one of swimming's most decorated athletes, Sanders serves as the host of this new 30-minute program, counting down the top ten positions on a variety of sports-related categories in an entertaining, informative and interactive way.
The debut episode of THE SPORTS LIST breaks down the top ten Greatest Individual Performances in the history of sports. Following the debut episode, TSL will feature countdowns covering such topics as Bizarre Moments, Most Intimidating Pitchers, Shocking Upsets and Best Homeruns. All told, the premiere season will break down 65 various and distinct sports-related categories and will involve input from key sports figures and celebrities, weighing in on their picks for each topic.

NASCAR THIS MORNING takes a week off as the Cup tour returns to Daytona. The pre-race party returns in two weeks to preview the summer stop at Chicagoland Speedway with defending race winner Ryan Newman, 2000 NASCAR Champion Bobby Labonte and alternative rock band Puddle of Mudd.
