Fox Sports Net to Telecast Chicago Bulls Season Opener on Wednesday, October 29

Extended, On-Site Pre-Game Show Among Highlights

Fox Sports Net, the television home for the most games and most comprehensive coverage of the Chicago Bulls, is ready to tip-off the 2003-04 NBA season in a big way as FSN delivers six-time NBA champion Scottie Pippen, along with Eddy Curry, Tyson Chandler, Jamal Crawford and Jalen Rose in the season/home opener onWednesday night, October 29.

Fox Sports Net's coverage of the Chicago Bulls season opener against the Washington Wizards begins at 6:30 PM (7:30 PM tip-off) with a live, on-site, extended one-hour edition of Century 21 Bulls PRE featuring hosts Damon Andrews and Norm Van Lier. FSN's Bulls announcing team of Tom Dore and Johnny "Red" Kerr will also be a part of the pre-game festivities, along with sideline reporter Gail Fischer.

Highlights of the extended Century 21 Bulls PRE include:

  • Live interview with new Bulls GM John Paxson
  • Live interview with head coach Bill Cartwright
  • Live Bulls player interviews
  • Feature on returning assistant coach Johnny Bach and the Bulls defense
  • Feature on the growth of the three "C's" – Curry, Chandler and Crawford
  • Interviews with local celebrities and VIPs attending the game

Following the game, Fox Sports Net will provide live post-game coverage on Bulls POST. Among the highlights will be Bill Cartwright's post-game press conference, locker room interviews with Bulls players and a thorough game analysis from Norm Van Lier. The season opener will be the first of 45 regular Bulls games televised on Fox Sports Net.
