FSN Florida Announces 2004-2005 Women’s College Hoops Schedule

36-Game Schedule Features Big 12 & Pac-10 Conference Match Ups

(SUNRISE, FL) – Women’s college basketball returns to FSN Florida with a comprehensive 36-game schedule of match ups throughout the 2004 – 2005 season. FSN’s lineup features action from a national schedule loaded with high-profile competition from the Big 12 and Pac-10 conferences (complete schedule follows). The women’s college basketball season tips-off on Sunday, November 28 at 3:00 pm when the Texas Tech Lady Raiders, ranked 9th in the USA Today preseason coaches’ poll, go to Stanford to take on the 7th ranked and three-time defending conference champion Cardinal team.

The 3rd ranked Texas Longhorns, guided by basketball Hall of Famer and six-time National Coach of the Year Jody Conradt, attempt a fourth consecutive NCAA Final 16 showing and are featured three times. The 8th ranked Baylor Lady Bears, led by Sophia Young who was one of only five players named pre-season All-Big 12, anticipate a strong season and make two showings on FSN Florida’s schedule.

As a prelude to the Women’s March Madness, FSN Florida’s extensive tournament coverage includes the Big 12 Quarterfinals, the Pac-10 Semi-finals, and both the Pac 10 and Big 12 championship games.
