FSN Ohio to Televise Crunch/Barons Game from Nationwide Arena

Regional Sports Network to Air Minor League Hockey Match-up on January 12

CLEVELAND – FSN Ohio announced today it will televise the American Hockey League game between the Cleveland Barons and the Syracuse Crunch on Wednesday, January 12@ 7:00 pm. Steve Liverani, Senior Vice President and General Manager, FSN Ohio, made the announcement.

The new Blue Jackets/FSN Ohio television team of play-by-play announcer, Jeff Rimer and color analyst, Brian Engblom will call the action live from Nationwide Arena in Columbus.

The Syracuse Crunch is the minor-league affiliate of the Columbus Blue Jackets, and the Cleveland Barons represent the NHL’s San Jose Sharks. The telecast will mark the first Barons game to be televised locally in their four-season history.

“FSN Ohio is thrilled to bring AHL action to hockey fans throughout the state,” said Liverani. “Blue Jackets fans in Columbus will have the opportunity to watch their prospects in the Crunch’s line-up, while Barons fans in Cleveland will see their team on television for the first time.”
