IfcRant, The Independent Film Channel's (IFC) consumer magazine bent on expanding the voice of Independent film, heads straight into its May/June issue featuring cover girl Christina Ricci – an actress determined to break the rules with the roles she chooses. In this issue, Christina Ricci, star The Laramie Project and of the upcoming films Pumpkin (to be released in June), and Prozac Nation (coming out in 2003) talks about her new role as a director and producer.

In the May/ June issue of IFCRant, the cutting edge actress talks about her production company Blaspheme Films and breaking through to the other side of the camera. Ricci discusses what it is like to be all grown up and embark on a new career path as a producer, and talks in depth about her upcoming directorial debut in the film, "The Speed Queen," a dark comedy about a woman on death row.

True to the magazine's promise to deliver the first interactive, cross-platform publication, film lovers will also be able to experience short segments on IFC as well as exclusive footage online at www.ifctv.com.
