IFC Presents Sex Fest Two Evenings of Sexy Films Airing Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5

Now that we have your attention, The Independent Film Channel (IFC), in conjunction with the IFC Films' New York and Los Angeles theatrical release of XX/XY on Friday, April 11, presents SEX FEST, two evenings of titillating films that will have your TV begging for more. SEX FEST airs Friday, April 4 and Saturday, April 5 beginning at 8:00PM/ET. The festival, hosted by XX/XY director Austin Chick, will include preview clips from XX/XY. The film will expand nationally on April 25.

XX/XY is a unique coming of age story about friends on the threshold of adulthood. Mark Ruffalo, Kathleen Robertson and Maya Strange star in this gritty and sophisticated exploration into the revolving lives of three college students who first meet at Sarah Lawrence College in the early 90's. When Sam (Maya Strange) and Thea (Kathleen Robertson) meet the irreverent young artist Coles (Mark Ruffalo) at a college party, their mutual attraction is immediate, leading to a passionate, if not awkward, night together and the onset of an intensely charged bond.

The SEX FEST film line-up is as follows:

New Rose Hotel, airing Friday, April 4 at 8:00PM/ET, directed by Abel Ferrara, stars Christopher Walken and Willem Dafoe. Two industrial espionage experts specializing in stealing talent and selling it to rival corporations, plan an elaborate scheme to lure a scientist with a prostitute. However, the operation is endangered when one falls in love with her.

Indie Sex: Taboos, airing Friday, April 4 at 9:45PM/ET, explores sexuality in a way that Hollywood would never dare. The IFC Original goes beyond the sexual revolution to probe the minds of some of the most revered independent filmmakers, like John Waters, Allison Anders and Atom Egoyan, who are not afraid to talk "dirty" about their films and the work of others.

Your Friends & Neighbors, airing Friday, April 4 at 10:45PM/ET, written and directed by Neil LaBute, stars Ben Stiller, Jason Patric and Catherine Keener. The film is a black comedy about unhappy couples that fall apart, cheat and never bounce back.

Wide Sargasso Sea, airing Saturday, April 5 at 10:00PM/ET, directed by John Duigan, stars Michael York and Rachel Ward. A new bride is hiding an old secret, regarding her childhood and her mother. The mystery slowly begins to erode her perfect marriage and perhaps her mother's story will begin again with her.

Belle de Jour, airs Saturday, April 5 at12:00AM, directed by Luis Bunuel, stars Catherine Deneuve and Jean Sorel. A young woman devoted to her husband cannot bring herself to be physically intimate with him. She indulges instead in vivid fantasies to entertain her sexual desires and becomes a prostitute, working in a brothel in the afternoons while remaining chaste to her husband.
