JOIN FIONA HUTCHISON AND CELEBRITY FRIENDS WHEN ROMANCE CLASSICS PREMIERS “TEA WITH FI” THIS MARCH
BETHPAGE, NY, February 18, 2000 — Curl up in your favorite chair and enjoy a sip of serenity with actress Fiona Hutchison when “TEA WITH FI” premieres on Romance Classics on Monday, March 27 at 4:30 PM (eastern time). Shot on location in Manhattan’s most elegant and unique tea houses, “Tea with Fi” will be paired each weekday with a classic British miniseries.
With the stylish backdrop of porcelain cups and saucers, unique teapots and silverware, decadent delicacies and teas from around the world, Ms. Hutchison will transport viewers to Manhattan’s most glamorous tearooms. Along with celebrity guests, Fiona will discuss topics including romance, relationships and motherhood — and of course, the history and benefits of the world’s finest teas. Celebrity guests include Linda Dano, Robin Leach, Dina Merrill, Tina Sloane and Finola Hughes.
The TEA WITH FI programming block will premiere a popular classic British miniseries, every Monday through Friday. Films include Catherine Cookson’s “The Fifteen Streets,” starring Owen Teale and Clare Holman;
and Dame Catherine’s “The Tide of Life,” starring Gillian Kearney and Ray Stevenson.
Fiona Hutchison is best known for her critically acclaimed roles on the dramatic popular television series, As the World Turns and One Life To Live, and her Emmy-nominated portrayal of “Jenna Bradshaw” on The Guiding Light. She is an accomplished actress who has appeared in numerous feature films and theater productions. She lives with her husband, playwright John Viscardi, and their two sons, in New York City.
