Jericho, NY – April 23, 2003 – The stars of today and tomorrow turn out to celebrate the accomplishments of Hollywood's brightest young talents when AMC and Movieline's Hollywood Life magazine present the YOUNG HOLLYWOOD AWARDS<®, it was announced today by Rob Sorcher, Senior Vice President of Programming and Production, AMC. AMC has concluded a multi-year deal for the show, taped for broadcast for the first time in its five-year history. YOUNG HOLLYWOOD AWARDS® premieres on AMC June 2, 2003 at 8:00 PM.

Taped at Hollywood's vintage El Rey theater, the celebratory ceremony will be hosted by Christina Applegate and will feature hot up-and-coming young celebrities such as Mandy Moore, Eve, Lucy Liu, Cole Hauser, Kate Bosworth, Nikki Reed, Alison Lohman, Joy Bryant, Clayne Crawford, Troy Garity, William Lee Scott and many more. Presenting awards to the evening's winners are some of today's biggest talents, including Luke Wilson, Josh Hartnett,
William H. Macy, Jon Voight, Matthew McConaughey
and Sam Rockwell.

During the broadcast, Academy Award®-nominated actor Harrison Ford will be presented with the "Young Hollywood's Role Model" award for inspiring today's young actors with his incredible cinematic career. Also that evening actor Luke Wilson will present the evening's "Young Hollywood's Dream Director" award to Rob Reiner. The evening of celebration will feature the following categories and honorees:
