Linda Schupack Named Rainbow Senior Vice President of Creative Services

Jericho, NY – April 12, 2001 – Rainbow Media Holdings, Inc. announced today the appointment of Linda Schupack as senior vice president, Creative Services. In this role, Ms. Schupack will oversee development of advertising, promotion, collateral and new media materials for all of Rainbow’s businesses, as well as for the corporate brand. A key member of the Rainbow senior management team, Ms. Schupack will work closely with each network on strategic and creative development.

In her new role, Ms. Schupack will provide critical guidance on the development and positioning of all existing and new brands including AMC, Bravo, WE: Women’s Entertainment, MuchMusic USA and Rainbow Sports and Rainbow Advertising Sales. Ms. Schupack is specifically charged with helping to meet each business’ financial and strategic objectives through the design and execution of creative for the brands. Ms. Schupack oversees both Rainbow’s Design Services and On-Air Promotions Departments.

An industry veteran, Ms. Schupack joins Rainbow from Viacom’s Nickelodeon network, where most recently she was the international vice president for brand management. In this capacity she oversaw the creative development of Nickelodeon internationally, interpreting the brand for local audiences through the development and execution of marketing and programming strategies. Previously, Ms. Schupack was the vice president, creative director for Nickelodeon’s consumer products division overseeing creative development and execution for all Nickelodoen’s consumer products and the company’s stand-alone retail stores. Ms. Schupack graduated from Yale University with an MBA in Business Administration and an undergraduate degree, with distinction, in English.
