muchmusic usa Names Jennifer Wolfe Director of Consumer Marketing

New York, N.Y., September 9, 2002 – Rainbow Media’s muchmusic usa, the nation’s only viewer-driven all music network, announced today the appointment of Jennifer Wolfe as Director of Consumer Marketing. Wolfe comes to muchmusic usa having gained ten years of expertise in youth marketing at industry leaders like Z100 radio, MTV, New York’s Jammin 105 and, most recently, Nibblebox. In her new position, Wolfe will report directly muchmusic usa’s Vice President of Marketing, Mary Corigliano and work with the network’s growing marketing team to spearhead an expanding array of consumer marketing and promotional initiatives.

Wolfe joins muchmusic usa following her time at the New York company Nibblebox, a digital college media company, where she was the Vice President of Marketing. During her time there, Wolfe was responsible for creating brand identity and launch strategy for digital media Internet start-up, overseeing advertising, public relations and graphic designs for the company, all while managing a $1 million dollar budget. Wolfe worked diligently to construct and develop an on-campus college program designed to raise awareness, drive site traffic, and provide a revenue platform that reached more than 50 campuses across the country.

Prior to Nibblebox, Wolfe spent two years at Jammin 105/WTJM as Director of Marketing. Highlights of her time at the station include the Jammin 105 Station Launch during which 65,000 plus potential new listeners entered the $50,0000 Name Game on-air contest, the Jammin 105 Flood Relief, a fundraiser she initiated for Hurricane Floyd victims that raised $110,000 plus in cash and goods, the national CD release of Millennium Dance Mix and the popular Broadway In Bryant Park, the free summer-long lunchtime series in New York City’s Bryant Park that provided a high traffic, high visibility branding opportunity.

Wolfe graduated from Boston University, College of Communication with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication.
