News 12 Long Island Honored with 7 New York Emmy Awards

(Woodbury, New York, April 4, 2005) – The New York Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences has honored News 12 Long Island with a total of seven New York Emmy Awards. The 48th Annual Emmy awards were presented on Sunday, April 3, 2005 at The Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City.

“We’re delighted the Academy has chosen once again to recognize News 12 Long Island for our talent and for our commitment to quality coverage of Long Island’s neighborhoods,” said Patrick Dolan, News 12 Long Island News Director.

The New York Emmy Awards recognize outstanding achievements in television, originally broadcast or cablecast in New York or Northern New Jersey.
