NEW YORK, July 6, 2004 – Premiere magazine and AMC have announced an alliance to broadcast the Premiere Women In Hollywood luncheon being held on September 14 at The Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills in a first-ever television special to air on October 3 at 10 PM (ET/PT) on AMC. The magazine’s annual celebration of the most talented and accomplished women in movies, coupled with celebrity interviews, tributes and exclusive footage of this year’s honorees, will be the focus of the hour-long broadcast.

The Premiere Women In Hollywood television special is the centerpiece of a
broader network on-air event that will air from 1 pm to 1 am on October 3,
featuring the films of prominent Hollywood actresses, including: "D.O.A." (Meg Ryan); "The River" (Sissy Spacek); "Urban Cowboy" (Debra Winger); "The Real McCoy" (Kim Basinger); and "Mulholland Falls" (Melanie Griffith).)
