Rainbow Media Promotes Three in Legal Department

Sharon Davis Promoted to Senior Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs

Laura Sher Promoted to Senior Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs

Denyse Santoro Promoted to Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs

New York, NY – February 7, 2011 – Rainbow Media announced today three promotions in the company’s legal department. Sharon Davis and Laura Sher have been promoted to Senior Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs; both were formerly Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs. Denyse Santoro has been promoted to Vice President of Legal and Business Affairs; she was formerly senior counsel of Legal Affairs. Collectively, Davis, Sher and Santoro oversee and manage all legal operations for Rainbow Media’s national networks (AMC, IFC, Sundance Channel, WE tv and Wedding Central) and IT division, as well as Rainbow Network Communications (RNC) and Cablevision’s Clearview Cinemas theater chain.

Davis and Sher report to Jamie Gallagher, Executive Vice President and General Counsel for Rainbow Media. Santoro reports to Davis. They are all based in the company’s New York City office.

As Senior Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs, Davis will continue to support AMC, WE tv, Wedding Central, RNC, Rainbow IT and Clearview Cinemas. Prior to joining Rainbow Media as a senior associate counsel, Davis was with the New York City law firm Carro, Spanbock, Kaster & Cuiffo as a partner in the mergers and acquisitions group. She is a graduate of Hofstra Law School.

As Senior Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs, Sher will continue to support IFC and Sundance Channel, providing legal counsel and business development services including licensing, foreign distribution and production finance. Prior to joining Rainbow Media as senior counsel for IFC, Sher practiced at Pryor Cashman Sherman & Flynn focusing on entertainment law; at O’Melveny & Myers focusing upon intellectual property licensing and litigation; and as General Counsel for Al Roker Entertainment, Inc. She graduated from Yale Law School in 2000.

As Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs, Santoro will continue to support Rainbow Network Communications, Rainbow Information Technology and Clearview Cinemas. Prior to joining Rainbow, she was an associate at Milbank, Tweed, Hadley & McCloy in the mergers and acquisitions group. She is a graduate of New York University Law School.
