Rainbow Network Communications Promotes Thomas Greco to Vice President of Business Development

(Jericho, NY, June 24, 2002) Rainbow Media Holdings, Inc. announced today that Thomas Greco, age 45, has been promoted to vice president of business development for Rainbow Network Communications (RNC). Mr. Greco will report to Steven Pontillo, P.E., senior vice president and general manager for RNC. RNC is a division of Rainbow Media Holdings and is a full service network programming origination and distribution company supplying an array of technical services to the cable and broadcast industries.

In his new role, Mr. Greco will be responsible for pursuing new business opportunities and revenue streams for the new RNC Technology Center, as well as management of the Rainbow Facilities Space Planning Department. His responsibilities will also include the management of RNC and Rainbow satellite transponder inventory, negotiations of all Rainbow Sports Networks transmission backhaul events, management of RNC’s third party and brokerage business, marketing initiatives, as well as the management of the units budget.

“Tom has played an important role in our transition into the new RNC Technology Center and most recently the company’s move into its 11 Penn Plaza facility,” said Mr. Pontillo. “He brings tremendous energy and operational skill to his work at RNC and has been a great asset in driving additional business opportunities for our new state-of-the-art technical center.”

Mr. Greco joined Rainbow in 1983 and most recently held the position of senior director of business development. In recent months, he led the project team responsible for the move to the 11 Penn Plaza facility and was also a key player when Rainbow relocated its headquarters in 1998 to Bethpage and again in 2001 to Jericho.

An 18-year veteran of Rainbow, Mr. Greco has been an important part of the satellite compression project RNC implemented for Rainbow Sports Networks, Rainbow’s Y2K efforts and the successful negotiations for many of the satellite transponders used by the Rainbow programming services today. RNC’s Technology Center is one of the most advanced facilities in the country. RNC’s experience in program delivery is unparalleled in the industry distributing content to more than 150 million people on a daily basis.
