Sam Chadha Joins AMC as Vice President, Advertising & Brand Strategy

NEW YORK, NY, May 25, 2005 – AMC announced today that Sam Chadha has joined the network as Vice President of Advertising and Brand Strategy. Sam is charged with developing AMC's consumer advertising campaigns and directing the network's strong movie-centric brand to build on its recent ratings success. This announcement comes on the heels of AMC's most successful year ever (2004) as well as solid ratings growth in 2005. The network experienced its best EVER 1Q in 1Q 2005, and season to date (Oct 04 thru Apr 05) is pacing to be AMC's strongest season ever. This appointment provides AMC with a senior branding strategist and a broader, more aggressive marketing infrastructure. Sam reports to Linda Schupack, Senior Vice President of Marketing.

Sam is responsible for the development and execution of AMC's advertising campaigns in consumer and trade media to support the network's increasing slate of originals and record ratings growth. He also leads the charge in clearly and effectively communicating AMC's brand to consumers, affiliates and advertisers. In addition, Sam oversees overall network messaging on AMC's consumer website, www.amctv.com.

Prior to joining AMC, Sam spent eight years at Jose Cuervo International Inc, most
recently as the Director of Integrated Marketing: Global, where he led worldwide brand and marketing strategies. He was instrumental in the development and implementation of the brand strategy and positioning for Cuervo's successful CuervoNation integrated promotional program in the US and its international expansion. Prior to joining Jose Cuervo, Sam enjoyed posts at Morgan Furze, UK and John Frieda, US.

Sam received his Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Manchester Metropolitan University, UK. He currently resides in Brooklyn, NY.
