The Independent Film Channel (IFC) Launches to 400K Cable Subscibers on Charter Communications in California

The Independent Film Channel (IFC) announced today that it is now available to more than 400,000 cable subscribers throughout Central and Southern California on Charter Communications’ Channel 110. The announcement was made jointly by Gregg Hill, Executive Vice President, Affiliate Sales and Marketing, Bravo Networks; and Dotty Ewing, Vice President, Sales and Marketing, Western Division, Charter Communications.

” Viewers are demanding both variety and high quality in programming as well as innovative films made outside the Hollywood system,” commented Hill. ” Charter Communications has been a tremendous supporter of IFC and independent film and we look forward to delivering increased value to them through our programming and local partnerships” .

As Affiliate Marketing Supervisor, Western Division, Maria Zoccolillo’s primary responsibilities include supporting the sales and marketing efforts of the affiliate field staff in the company’s Central and Western Regions as well as servicing National Accounts. Zoccolillo comes to Bravo from Exec/Comm, a communications consulting firm where she served as a Marketing Manager for more than five years. Prior to that, she handled product and packaging development for an international toy manufacturer. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Dowling College and a Masters Degree in Direct Marketing Communications from New York University. She will report to Moore and is based at the company’s corporate headquarters located in Bethpage, New York.

In addition to Charter Communications, IFC is available on the following MSOs throughout California: Adelphia, AT&T, Cox Communications, and Time Warner Communications.
