Series Provided Intimate Look at Fashion Designer Premieres January 26th at 10pm
LAS VEGAS, NV – January 6, 2006 -Ultra HD, the first high definition channel devoted to the worlds of fashion, beauty and style, announced today from the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, the January 26th premiere of Behind The Label with fashion designer Donna Karan. The half-hour series, hosted by Judy Licht, offers a candid interview with Karan about her business, life, philanthropy and her many other personal achievements. Ultra HD is one of the VOOM HD Networks, the largest and most diverse suite of high-definition channels nationwide. VOOM HD Networks is currently available nationally on DISH Networks.
VOOM HD Network’s General Manager Greg Moyer, will be on-site and spending much of his time in the DISH Network booth (# 8231), currently the national distributor for the entire suite of channels.

The next guest to be featured in the Behind The Label series, in March, is with fashion designer Kimora Lee Simmons. Soon to follow in April are fashion designers Anna Sui and Narciso Rodriguez. Viewers learn about the inspirations behind their collections and the history that led them to their success.
This month, VOOM HD announced its distribution agreement with Echostar Communications to expand its offerings to carry fifteen core HD channels on its Dish Network. In October, VOOM HD solidified a co-production deal with Singapore to create mostly nonfiction niche programming. Since the launch, VOOM HD has gone on to produce groundbreaking original HD content for a wide variety of consumer interests ranging from a one-of-a-kind live memorabilia auction on Gallery HD to solidifying an acquisition agreement with Warner Brothers to amass the largest collection of horror films for Monsters HD.
